Equipment

 

Each player is provided a full set of equipment and all that is recommended to participate are cleats, however they are not required.

 

Safety

 

Each coach is required to be certified under the National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP). This program includes mandatory training and specifically safe contact or “heads up” certification.

 

Team selection

 

This happens during the mass practice each year which is an opportunity for the coaches to measure the size and weight of the players and to see some basic skills on the field.

 

Practice location

 

All practices are either held at the McCoy School or at the MHHS field.

 

Development

 

This is a developmental league and the goal is FUN! Players are matched up at practice with kids of the same size and skill to ensure that they have a good experience.
